Insecticide Acarous is a non-systemic
contact insecticide belonging to the Carbazate group, formulated as a
concentrated suspension (SC). It is the ideal solution for combating all stages
of mites.
**Mechanism of
Action:**
- The compound exerts its effect
through contact, affecting the nervous system transmitter between the central
nervous system and the motor nervous system. This leads to irregular movement
and tremors after three hours of acarids exposure to the insecticide, resulting
in complete cessation of feeding.
- After 3-4 days of
treatment, the compound maximizes its effect by significantly reducing the mite
population. The mechanism of action of the compound differs from other
acaricidal agents.
Duramite is a new active substance belonging
to the chemical group Carbazate. It successfully controls mites that have
developed resistance to other acaricides. It is highly efficient in eliminating
all stages of mites (complete or mobile stages) without the need for mixing
with other compounds.
The compound rapidly inhibits the
feeding process for harmful mites (within 3 hours), halting the damage caused
by them. The pre-harvest period is short compared to other acaricides, making
it suitable for export crops.
Duramite has a prolonged residual
effect, providing protection for over two weeks after treatment, making it
compatible with integrated pest management programs.
It has no adverse effects on
predators, beneficial organisms, or honey bees, allowing its use alongside
other biological control elements safely. There are no visible residue effects
on flowers or leaves of treated crops.
The compound is unaffected by rainfall
or irrigation within 6 hours of treatment.
**Spraying
Precautions:**
1. Duramite 24% SC acts through
contact, so complete coverage of treated plants is essential to ensure the
compound reaches both upper and lower leaf surfaces.
2. The compound should be used once
per season, and in cases of severe infestation, a second treatment can be
applied seven days after the first.
3. Thorough agitation is necessary
during the preparation of the spray solution and during application.
4. Spraying should be avoided during
strong winds to prevent compound drift.
**Best Spray
Timing:**
The best times for spraying are early
in the morning or before sunset.
**Compatibility:**
Duramite is compatible with fertilizers and pesticides after conducting a compatibility test.
